Yet more truck movements …

Sheridans Hard Rock Quarry (via Clarence Council) has made an application asking for approval for the use of the Waterfall Way for yet MORE trucks to carry gravel down the mountain to the Pacific Highway upgrade site.

They are requesting an increase from 4,849 to 12,000 movements per annum !

This decision will be made by the JRPP (Joint Regional Planning Panel) and we are preparing a submission on behalf of “People with an Interest In Road Safety for the Waterfall Way”. The closing date for submissions to the JRPP is 4.00pm on 28 April 2014

We have written to Clarence Council asking for an extension to the submission period for the Joint Regional Planning Panel.  This is a Clarence Council matter but will be decided by the JRPP, a NSW government decision making group.  If we submit we get to speak so its important for us to get as many people as possible to write.
